What is Microblading? Also known as Embroidery, micro-stroking, and feather touch

Microblading is a procedure using a hand held tool with a very fine blade (several needles together to form a blade) to deposit pigments into the epidermis. The pigment is close to the surface of the skin which makes the strokes appear crisp and very fine.

This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are very natural looking.

Results can last anywhere from 11-18 months. A second treatment is recommended within 6-8 weeks.

What is Micro-Pigmentation (Permanent Make-up / Tattoo)?

This is a procedure applying pigment into the dermal layer of the skin.

Pigments are made of mineral and iron oxide or organic based colorants. There colorants have been used in the cosmetic industry for years and are found in candy and confectionary and pills.

Is it painful?

A topical anesthetic, similar to dental freezing, is applied to numb the area to ensure safety, comfort and proper technique.

Sterilized, disposable needles are used to implant desired color into the dermis layer of the skin.

What can you expect immediately after the procedure?

There will be some redness and possible swelling which will dissipate quickly, within a day or so. Applying ice or a cold compress and keeping the area moist with Vaseline facilitate quick healing.

A touch-up of appointment is usually recommended within four to eight weeks from initial procedure. This second appointment will perfect and detail the final look.

Permanent Eyebrows

Using proper aligning techniques, eyebrows are measured to the specification of the bone structure in the face to ensure accurate and symmetrical length and arch of the brows.

Brows are then stenciled on and adjusted to suit the clients facial features. Anesthetic is applied and pigment is implanted into the dermis using hair like strokes that result in natural looking brows.

Permanent Eyeliner

Eyeliner follows the natural lash line and contours from the inner corner of the eye to the outer corner of the lash line. For a more natural lash enhancement, a thin line is applied in the lashes and along the lash line. For a more dramatic and youthful look, a thicker line is applied.

Permanent Makeup Lips

Lip liner follows along the outer ridge of the lip for a more crisp and youthful look – great for preventing bleeding of lipstick. This can also be used to camouflage any imperfections in lip size or fullness, using both the lip liner and fill procedure.

Tattoo or Permanent make-up removal and color correction

This procedure is performed in a very similar fashion using topical anesthetic to numb the area and removal solution to remove the pigment at the site. A sterilized disposable needle is used to implant the acid into the pigment in the dermis. This procedure is very effective in removal; however 2 to 3 applications may be necessary for best results depending on the size and depth of the area.

You can expect a healing time of one to two weeks using a healing agent.

Color correction

Most common color corrections are: brows, initially tattooed black and have turned blue, purple or green over time. These colors can be corrected by implanting a specific pigment which will blend in the dermis with the existing color to create a more natural coloring.

A few important things to know

  1. Do your research.
  2. Look for certified professionals.
  3. Black: You can never achieve a true black coloring (heals blue-ish).
  4. Plum and Burgundies: these colors may heal with a blue undertone.
  5. If you have ever had cold sores, lip procedures will induce reoccurrence. Suppression medication is recommended prior to procedure.

Sanitization and sterilization

  1. All needles are sterilized and disposable. Each client gets a brand new needle which is used only for them. All other materials are disposable and discarded after each client.
  2. All equipment is wiped down after each client using a medical grade anti-bacterial solvent.

A touch up is to be done between one to three months after the initial procedure. This is to add color in places that may have come out during the healing process. It is done after the first 30 days to ensure the area is healed and so that the color will blend properly with the other completed area.

Cost for Touch-up’s

  • Touch-up – Partial areas (spots/ends) from initial procedure: $100.00 (must be during the first 3 months.)
  • Cost will be $100.00 OFF regular price of procedure. MUST BE DONE WITHIN FIRST 3 MONTHS.

Any time after 3 years it is considered a new procedure and will be at a negotiated discounted price off the regular price.

If you refer someone they have to put your name on the referral and you will receive $80.00 your next regular price procedure.

Consultations: Takes about 10-15 minutes where we discuss thickness, color and shape. This is done prior to the procedure.
